We have pioneered the development of a number of solar tracking technologies, such as trackers adapted to bifacial modules, stand-alone trackers and self-powered trackers.

Our innovation has contributed to optimizing solar plants through the use of advanced algorithms and wireless communications systems, amongst other. This desire to develop more efficient and sustainable products has allowed us to hold a strong competitive position and to be a technological benchmark within the industry.

Innovation Milestones

Enviroscale

In 2022, the first IDEA program spin-off was created with the aim to promote intrapreneurship projects within the Company. Enviroscale uses blockchain technology to know the origin and sustainability level of generated energy.

Green Hydrogen Lab

Construction of a hydrogen lab to deepen our understanding of commercial electrolyzers and validate Soltec Innovations’ developments within this new line of action over the next few years.

Soltec Electronics Testing Labs

Creation of an indoor test field with 400 pilot trackers featuring real controllers and communications for wireless system development, software and firmware debugging, troubleshooting and training.

Soltec Tracker Benchmarking

STB aims to measure and acquire data from prototypes, pilot tests and power plants. Data relating to irradiance, current, power, dirt and albedo, amongst other, is analyzed to establish trends and determine potential improvements.

Affiliation to Innoenergy

Affiliation to the Innoenergy Agency linked to the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), whose mission is to promote collaboration between startups, universities and large companies.

Helios Program

Support to the Soltec Foundation in the design and development of the Helios program for pre-incubation of business ideas with the aim of promoting initiatives within the clean energy and sustainability industry.

We focus our innovation and development efforts in Soltec Innovations, created in 2019. We have dedicated facilities and a technical team comprised of engineers and scientists.
