Soltec’s new phase attracts the interest of the Ministry of Industry and the Regional Government of Murcia during an institutional meeting at the company’s headquarters

Soltec held an institutional meeting at its offices with representatives from the Ministry of Industry and Tourism and the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, during a visit that provided first-hand insight into the company’s activities and its role in the technological development of the photovoltaic sector.

The visit was attended by the Special Commissioner for Industrial Competitiveness and SMEs of the Ministry of Industry and Tourism, Núria Aymerich Rocavert, accompanied by the director of her office, Raquel Alonso. Representing the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia were the Director General of Industry, Energy, and Mines, Federico Miralles, and the Deputy Director General of Industrial, Energy, and Mining Safety, Juan Antonio Mas Ferrer.

During the meeting, the institutional representatives were able to learn about Soltec’s work in the field of solar technology, as well as its international track record and its position as a technology partner in solar energy, offering solutions that integrate technology, engineering, and services aimed at optimizing the performance of photovoltaic plants throughout their life cycle.

With more than two decades of experience, Soltec has supplied almost 22 GW of solar trackers in more than 20 countries, consolidating an international presence in key markets such as the United States, Latin America, and Europe. This track record has allowed it to develop in-depth knowledge of different regulatory, geographical, and climatic environments, adapting its solutions to the specific needs of each project and each market.

During the visit, some of the main challenges and opportunities facing the solar energy sector were also discussed, as it continues to consolidate its position as one of the pillars of the global energy transition. Both the representatives of the Ministry of Industry and those of the Regional Government of Murcia have shown interest in Soltec’s new phase, in which the company will focus on strengthening its international expansion and technological development in order to continue offering world-class solar trackers.

The conference also highlighted Soltec’s contribution to the industrial and technological development of Murcia, where the company promotes its international activity, contributing to the region’s industrial fabric and economy.
