Soltec appoints Vinicius Gibrail as Regional General Manager for Latin America to lead growth in the region

Murcia, August 10, 2026. Soltec, a company specializing in photovoltaic energy solutions, has appointed Vinicius Gibrail as new Regional General Manager for the Latin American market. With this appointment, the company continues strengthening its international structure and its commitment to a strategic region for its business, aiming to further consolidate its growth, strengthen closeness to customers and advance the development of innovative solutions for the solar market.

Vinicius Gibrail brings over 25 years of experience in general management and business development roles at international companies in the renewable energy, certification and electrical equipment sectors. Throughout his career he has led commercial operations and multidisciplinary teams in more than 15 Latin American countries, including Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Chile and various markets across Central America and the Caribbean, driving business growth and continuous operational improvement.

Gibrail holds a degree in Business Administration and an MBA in Business Management from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV). Before joining Soltec, he built his career at energy and industrial companies, where he gained extensive experience managing organizations and developing international projects.

International expansion

Vinicius Gibrail’s appointment is part of Soltec’s new stage, focused on consolidating its positioning as a technology company specializing in solar trackers and strengthening its presence in the most strategic international markets. Following the appointment earlier this year of Alejandro Moreno to head North America, the appointment of a new leader for Latin America responds to the goal of strengthening the company’s regional structure and continuing to drive a management model closer to customers and tailored to the needs of each market.

Latin America is one of Soltec’s strategic markets, where the company has accumulated over a decade of experience in countries such as Brazil and Chile. The region will continue to play a key role in the company’s international strategy, both for its growth potential and for the experience Soltec has built up in developing photovoltaic projects and supplying solar trackers.
