MIAMI – April 27, 2026. Soltec, a leading global tracker company, is reinforcing its international expansion with the appointment of Alejandro Moreno as the company’s new President in North America. Under its new leadership, Soltec will focus on providing technologically advanced, high-quality trackers to the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.

This strategic move strengthens Soltec’s position in the U.S. and Mexican utility-scale solar and energy-intensive AI data center markets, where Soltec has more than ten years of experience.

Based at Soltec’s U.S. headquarters in Miami, Alejandro Moreno arrives at Soltec with more than two decades in the solar energy sector. Throughout his career, he has gained extensive international experience in business development and project management in the renewable energy market, including senior leadership roles at Suntech, Isofoton, Recurrent Energy, and Canadian Solar, where he has led global development strategies for technologies including solar, storage, and hybrid solutions, overseeing multicultural teams across different continents and driving the growth of extensive international project portfolios.

Rising electricity demand across North America is creating new opportunities for solar development. Soltec’s SFOne and SF7 solutions have been specifically adapted to market needs, combining local-content readiness, advanced yield-enhancement algorithms, rapid deployment, and low-maintenance performance with the reliable and versatile tracker technology developers require across diverse sites and geographies.

With Moreno’s new leadership of Soltec’s North American operations, his goal will be to accelerate growth, strengthen customer relationships, and consolidate the company’s position in the region, relying on his experience in developing high-performance teams and executing results-oriented business strategies.

In parallel, Alma Miller, who previously led Soltec’s U.S. operations, has been appointed Executive Vice President, Strategic Partnerships. In this capacity, she will continue to lead key client relationships and strategic initiatives across the region, supporting Soltec’s market positioning and long-term growth.

“We are convinced that Alejandro’s experience and vision will be key to strengthening our role as a leading solar technology partner at a time of transformation in the sector and a strong boost to our international expansion,” said Soltec’s CEO, Mariano Berges. “Soltec has maintained a strong presence in North America, particularly in the United States, since 2015. This leadership realignment is designed to continue meeting customer expectations in this exciting new phase of the solar industry, driven by data center growth and large-scale electrification.”

Moreno added, “With Soltec’s North American headquarters in Miami and our logistics and training center in Texas, we’re well positioned to support the expanding solar+storage markets in North America. I take on this new challenge with the aim of consolidating the company’s positioning and advancing our strategic priorities, focusing on innovation, efficiency, and sustainable growth in North America.”
