Soltec strengthens its international expansion with the appointment of Alejandro Moreno as new President of the company for North America

Madrid, April 23, 2026. Soltec, a company specializing in photovoltaic energy solutions, strengthens its international expansion with the appointment of Alejandro Moreno as the company’s new President for North America. Soltec continues consolidating its position in the renewable energy sector through constantly evolving technology development, enabling it to offer global customers advanced solar tracker solutions. Alejandro Moreno’s appointment sets the course for the company internationally and strengthens its position in markets as important as the United States and Mexico, where Soltec has over ten years of experience and deep on-the-ground knowledge.

Alejandro Moreno joins Soltec after more than two decades in the energy sector. Throughout his career he has built extensive international experience in business development and renewable energy project management, including senior leadership roles at major companies such as Suntech Power, Isofoton, Recurrent Energy and Canadian Solar, where he led global development strategy across technologies such as solar, storage and hybrid solutions. Over his career he has led multicultural teams across continents and managed the growth of large project portfolios internationally.

His appointment as Soltec’s new President for North America comes at a time of stability and growth for the company, further strengthening its structure in a key market. This market stands as strategic for the group, offering sustained growth in the short, medium and long term, driven by rising energy demand and the need to develop more efficient and sustainable infrastructure. Soltec has shown notable adaptability thanks to its technological strength, its knowledge of the local environment and the versatility of its solar trackers.

As President of the company in the region, Alejandro Moreno will lead operations in North America with the goal of accelerating growth, strengthening customer relationships and consolidating Soltec’s position in this market, drawing on his experience building high-performing teams and executing results-driven commercial strategies.

Alma Miller, meanwhile, following her time leading Soltec in North America since March 2024, will continue playing an important role in business development from her position as Executive Vice President of Strategic Alliances, contributing her market knowledge and supporting the strengthening of strategic relationships and the company’s presence in the region.
