Soltec Industrial signs 142-MW contract with Endesa for three projects in Extremadura (Spain)

Soltec Power Holdings announces a new contract with Endesa for supply of equipment and construction services for three photovoltaic plants in the Region of Extremadura (Spain), with a 142-MW installed capacity.

Veracruz, Puerta Palmas and El Doblón are located between the municipalities of Almendralejo and Mérida, and will have an installed capacity of c.50-MW each.

Within the framework of this project, Soltec will supply Endesa with the SF7 bifacial tracker, a 2-in-portrait tracker, specifically designed by Soltec to maximize the production of bifacial modules.

For the construction of these plants, Soltec Power Holdings will provide employment and qualified training to more than 450 people in the region, promoting the hiring of local labor, as established in the company’s Sustainability Plan.

This new agreement allows Soltec to continue increasing its backlog, which was at a record high in the first quarter of the year and has further grown in the second quarter.

Furthermore, the agreement reached with Endesa implies the execution of a project to be scheduled this year. According to data from March 31, 2021, Soltec Industrial had a backlog of €306 million and a pipeline of €2,667 million.
