Soltec approves its restructuring plan

• The company manages to secure the viability of its business and reduces its debt amount to 255 million euros.
• The entry of a new investor, who will acquire 80% of the company, was key to reaching an agreement.
• In addition, it has the liquidity needed to meet its business plan.

Molina del Segura (Murcia), July 26, 2025. Soltec filed with Commercial Court No. 2 of Murcia a request for approval of its restructuring plan. This way, the company manages to secure the viability of its business in the short and medium term. Among other measures, it agreed to reduce its debt amount from approximately 385 million euros to 255 million euros.

A key element in reaching the agreement was securing the entry of a new investor, DVC Partners, which will subscribe a loan to Soltec of 30 million euros, to be repaid in shares representing 80% of the capital. To this end, the company will carry out a simultaneous capital reduction and increase.

In addition, Soltec has secured the liquidity needed to meet its business plan. On one hand, the new investor will provide financing worth 15 million euros. On the other hand, creditors granted a new guarantees line of 12 million euros.

Following the restructuring plan agreement, Soltec will focus on consolidating its competitive position in the solar tracker segment, its core business, which in 2024 generated revenue of approximately 300 million euros and delivered 3.7 GW. This line of business stands out for its high technological level, international presence, and sustainable margins.

In addition, the company will continue its divestment process in non-strategic lines, such as the construction (EPC) and asset management divisions, as well as the sale of stakes in projects and companies, which have already helped improve liquidity and reduce part of the debt.
