Soltec presents its latest technology: SF8 and SFOne

Soltec presents its latest technology: SF8 and SFOne

The SF8, largest tracker on the marketplace, is designed to resist adverse weather conditions
The SFOne, Soltec’s most recent launch, features the 1P multirow technology

SF8 and SFOne trackers represent Soltec’s commitment to innovation and determination to supply the marketplace with state-of-the-art technology. Both the SFOne and SF8 are a clear representation of Soltec’s vision of the future and its relationship with clients.

SFOne is known for its 1P multirow configuration and use of the Dy-Wind system, an advanced design tool which optimizes wind-resistance. It is also equipped with Diffuse Booster, a system favoring greater solar panel performance compared to competitors under conditions of poor lighting. This makes SFOne a tracker with greater adaptability to multiple terrains and environments. This, together with SFOne’s easy installation, allows for an assembly time reduction of 75% and lower operational costs.

This new product represents Soltec’s return to the 1P technology, after its SA Series tracker in 2009. Years later, the company decided to launch this new product with the aim to increase its product portfolio and adapt to market demands.

On the other hand, SF8 solar tracker is the company’s bet to revolutionize the photovoltaic industry. This tracker, presented in 2020, has a minimum 2×60 configuration, between 4 to 6 strings, and 5.16% less parts than other trackers. Its new and improve geometry, together with an autonomous self-stow system, make the SF8 a tracker of enhanced robustness designed to operate at 100% even under adverse weather conditions.

Additionally, the SF8 has a structure 22% more robust than the SF7 (previous generation of Soltec trackers and features bifacial modules, a type of technology favoring an 8.6% power generation gain compared to competitors.

Soltec, with 17 years of experience in the photovoltaic industry and presence in 16 international markets, is a leading company in the manufacture and supply of solar trackers. Soltec’s commitment to ongoing reached has allowed the company to develop new technologies and to hold over 35 international patents, as well as an additional 65 patents currently in the process of being approved.
