Overholt joins the global tracker leader to execute U. S. growth plans

Soltec, a leading manufacturer and supplier of single-axis solar trackers in large-scale PV projects, has appointed Bill Overholt as General Manager of its U. S. subsidiary Soltec America, LLC. As a seasoned energy executive bringing more than 25 years of industry expertise to this role, he will be focused on growing Soltec’s North American business.

“Soltec is a dynamic company that continues to expand its global position in the solar tracker market. I look forward to bringing my U. S. and international experiences in the energy sector to help Soltec grow further in the United States and globally,” said Bill Overholt.

The Soltec America office was established in California in 2015 as the base for U. S. sales growth and provide logistics plus technical support for PV projects within the country. An innovation center has also been created where the American R&D team is developing many product enhancements including testing and evaluation of the SF7 Bifacial Single-Axis Tracker.

“We are thrilled that Bill is joining our team, and we are convinced that his extensive energy industry experience will accelerate our expansion in the U. S. market,” said Soltec CEO Raúl Morales.
