The FINAME accreditation allows Soltec’s customers to access special financing offered by the BNDES in Brazil
Soltec becomes one of the first manufacturers of solar trackers to achieve the FINAME certification
Soltec has obtained the FINAME certification for its SF Utility Single-Axis Solar Tracker from the National Bank of Economic and Social Development (BNDES). Thus, Soltec becomes one of the first manufacturers of solar trackers to achieve the FINAME certification.
“Since Soltec opened its Brazil factory in September 2015, obtaining FINAME accreditation has been one of our top priorities. The FINAME seal allows our customers to get access to financing sources under special terms and conditions”, declared Soltec Brazil´s Country Director Carlos Mena.
The FINAME program from BNDES provides special financing conditions to companies acquiring equipment manufactured in Brazil.
Soltec Brazil offers in Brazil a complete tracking solution for solar plants. Local manufacturing also means that Soltec is now able to offer shorter lead time to customers and much better service support. “Brazil is a key market for solar and we are planning around 700MW of solar tracking installations in the next 12 months and the FINAME certification will help us meet this objective”, said Soltec CEO Raul Morales.
