New location for the event ‘Solar Plants in Spain’

Soltec sponsors the event Solar Plants in Spain

New location for the event ‘Solar Plants in Spain’

Given the success of participation, Expansión chose the NH Collection Eurobuilding Hotel to increase the capacity.

The number of registrations and the interest generated by the event “Solar Plants in Spain: development, financing and authorization” have made that the newspaper Expansión, organizer of the event, had decided to move it for more capacity. The new location is the NH Collection Madrid Eurobuilding Hotel (see it on Google Maps).

The capacity is still limited so we recommend you, if not done already, to register on the event website to get your invitation:

The event, inaugurated by Deputy General Director of Energías Renovables Jesús Ferrero, is formed by four roundtables in which the complete process of development of a photovoltaic plant will be addressed: from planning to construction, also administrative procedures and project financing.

“After the auction of July 2017, at Soltec we are working on the development of PV projects in Spain. For this reason, we wanted to promote and participate in a meeting that would help solar energy companies to understand the complete process involved in the construction of a photovoltaic plant in this country,” says Raúl Morales, CEO of Soltec.

Companies like Enel Green Power, Iberdrola, and EDP will offer the developers’ perspective. The construction process will also be addressed from the point of view of the EPC of the plant thanks to Elecnor. The technological challenges and latest innovations in photovoltaic energy will be also heard from manufacturers such as Soltec, Jinko Solar, and Power Electronics.

This event will also have a political-administrative roundtable, entitled “Administrative procedure for the authorization of solar plants” that will have the presence of the general directors of energy of the autonomous communities of Andalusia, Aragon, Castilla-La Mancha, Extremadura, and Murcia.

Finally, the event will address the project financing by financial institutions Banco Santander and Bankia, and the internationally renowned auditing companies PWC and KPMG.

After the talks, Soltec will invite attendees to a networking cocktail that will be held in the same place.
