Environment

The protection of biodiversity, the fight against climate change and the environment are our priority.

We aim to achieve emission neutrality in transport and any by-product of our activity by 2050 through emission reduction, circular economy, resource management and respect for biodiversity.
Ecovoltaics

The new standard under which we create sustainable photovoltaic plants, with the minimum environmental impact and the greatest social benefit.

A concept based on biodiversity enhancement, socio-economic excellence, circular economy and carbon offsetting in order for solar PV plants to meet the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Building more sustainable photovoltaic projects is our main objective. We promote socio-economic excellence, as well as the circular economy, the offsetting of the national carbon footprint and respect for the biodiversity of the environment.

Our energy is the people

Soltec is its people. That is why we guarantee equality, diversity and fairness for all.

We promote talent and recognition, as well as respect for human rights and the protection and care of all members of the company.

Innovation

Innovation is key to achieving our purpose: a more sustainable, fairer and cleaner world. We promote innovative and differentiating projects for the energy transition through different angles:

Soltec Innovationsfocused on corporate innovation;
Auroraour startup accelerator;
Ideaour unique intrapreneurship programme.
A more sustainable world is only possible if everyone is onboard: administrations, society and companies. Thus, Soltec works actively to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Our SDGs

SDG 7
Affordable and clean energy

The demand for energy is growing and access to energy requires an energy transition to a clean, secure, affordable and sustainable model that addresses the climate challenges and inequalities we face.

At Soltec we are convinced that the development of solar energy worldwide in a sustainable way goes beyond producing renewable energy.
We develop, innovate, design our products, build our projects and operate our plants with the ultimate goal of decarbonising energy through both our own projects and the solutions we provide to maximise photovoltaic performance.

SDG 8
Decent work and economic growth

As a society we must achieve higher levels of economic productivity through diversification, technological upgrading and innovation, and improve the efficient production and consumption of the world's resources.

Likewise, the commitment to decent, free and equal work around the world is one of the challenges to which business must contribute most actively.
Therefore, at Soltec we are committed to innovation as the main tool against climate change, ecovoltaic development, to build solar plants with the minimum environmental impact and the maximum social benefit, as well as to the creation of quality employment in all the countries where we are present.

SDG 9
Industry, innovation and infrastructure

The development of a sustainable industry, based on innovation, is the way to generate sufficient, modern, clean and adequate infrastructure for all the world's people. In addition, industry is a driver of job creation, international trade and resource efficiency.

We innovate, we manufacture, we build
At Soltec we are committed to an inclusive and sustainable industry, based on local manufacturing, as a driving force for the economy.

SDG 13
Climate action

Energy consumption is the largest source of greenhouse gas emissions. Therefore, the massive deployment of clean energy is urgently needed to combat climate change and global warming.
In 2021, thanks to our projects, we will avoid 3,580,197 tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere and our goal is to continue contributing to the fight against climate change and its effects through solar energy.
Soltec Foundation: The Soltec Foundation was born as an expression of our vocation for social responsibility, as well as our will to contribute to the improvement of each of the societies in which it carries out its activities.
