With this project, Soltec reaches 551 MW supplied in Brazil and reinforces its position as the country's leader in solar tracking.
Soltec will supply its SF Utility tracking equipment to the Floresta photovoltaic plant in the state of Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil. This 101 MW solar plant, located in the municipality of Areia Branca, is being developed by Solairedirect-ENGIE.

The Soltec solar trackers in Floresta will be supplied locally, complying with the conditions of the FINAME programme.

"As the market leader in Brazil, we are establishing a new optimised supply system for the solar industry. We have local staff and facilities to ensure the success of the project," says Carlos Mena, Country Manager Brazil at Soltec. "Our customers choose us for the cost-effectiveness of our solar trackers in both installation and operations, and for our proven experience in meeting quality, cost and project schedule criteria".

This is the third large-scale PV tracking plant executed by Soltec in the country, reaching 551 MW and maintaining its leading position in the Brazilian solar tracker supply market since last year.

"Our goal is to provide our customers with the latest technology at the most competitive price. We focus on being reliable, innovative and keeping installation costs low," says Raúl Morales, CEO of Soltec. "We are very proud to add Solairedirect, a subsidiary of the ENGIE Group, to our global portfolio of top-tier customers".
