With revenues up more than 700 percent in three years, the company ranks first in the solar sector in the FT 1000 ranking of the Financial Times.

Soltec, a leading manufacturer and supplier of single-axis solar trackers, has moved straight to the top spot among the renewable energy companies in the FT 1000 list published by the Financial Times. It lists the 1,000 companies in Europe that have achieved the highest growth between 2012 and 2015. The company is ranked 147th in the ranking with an impressive growth of 778%.

This year's list compares revenue growth and compound annual growth rate from 2012 to 2015. Soltec ranked fifth out of the 29 energy companies on the list and first among the seven renewable energy companies. In addition, Soltec is the only solar tracker supplier among the four solar energy companies on the list.

"Our record growth in recent years is a testament to the dedication that the Soltec team puts into their work," says Soltec CEO Raul Morales. "We are proud to be the number one renewables company. These results speak to our culture of innovation and technical leadership." In 2016, Soltec's PV tracking equipment achieved annual sales of more than 1 GW in the Americas and annual manufacturing capacity at 2.5 GW. Estimated shipments for this year are close to 1 GW.

The FT 1000 list recognises innovative and fast-growing companies that are the driving force of the European economy in the 21st century, creating jobs and underpinning Europe's competitiveness.
