Soltec reaffirms its position as the world's third largest supplier of solar trackers

A report published by IHS Markit places the Spanish manufacturer in third position in the world ranking and as the leading company in LatAm, after supplying 9.2% of the world's total solar trackers in 2019.

Soltec, a leading company in the manufacture and supply of single-axis solar trackers belonging to the Soltec Power Holdings group of companies, consolidates its leading position as the third largest supplier of solar trackers worldwide, according to a recent report published by the information provider IHS Markit, "Global PV tracker report - 2020". Soltec supplied 9.2% of the world's total trackers during 2019, equivalent to 2910MW of solar plant equipment worldwide and an increase of 1.3% over the previous year. This places the company in third position worldwide in 2019 and it holds the same position in terms of cumulative supply among all active manufacturers. The report also shows that Soltec is the leading company in LatAm in the supply of solar trackers in this continent.

The projects carried out during the past year 2019 have allowed Soltec to meet the objectives set for this period. The company also continues to work on a multitude of projects located in key markets for the photovoltaic solar energy sector.
