With this project, Soltec accumulates 450 MW installed in Brazil, becoming the first supplier of solar trackers in the country.
Soltec, a leading manufacturer and supplier of single-axis solar trackers, has begun installation of its SF Utility tracking system at a 292 MW photovoltaic park in Brazil.

This is the second plant of this type executed by Soltec in Brazil, which will have an installed capacity of 450 MW, making it the leading supplier of single-axis solar trackers in the Latin American country.

In total, Soltec has an installed capacity of 780 MW of SF Utility solar trackers throughout the Americas, to which a further 570 MW will be added during 2017.

"We are very proud of the activity we are having in the Americas in countries such as Brazil, Chile and the United States. We believe that our success, which has positioned us as leaders in solar tracking in Latin America, is the reward for a job well done and the service we offer our customers," says Fernando Sánchez, sales director in LATAM.

Soltec's SF Utility solar tracker has become one of the most advanced solar trackers in the world due to its higher performance and the greater economic efficiency it can offer in large-scale solar installations. In addition, its ground adaptability allows for greater ground utilisation by reducing civil work on each project.

"Our goal is to offer our customers the most advanced technology at the most competitive price, so we focus our work on innovating a product that offers the best performance while reducing the cost of installation," says Raúl Morales.
