Project title: Design and Development of Efficient Converters for Solar Installations with Intelligent Load Management.

ResultsSOLTEC INNOVATIONS S.L., has been the beneficiary of a grant from the Ministry of Science and Innovation managed by the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology within the CDTI PID aid programme (file number EXP 00134106 / IDI-20210986) with a grant of 319,559.72€, out of a total budget of 484,769.00€. The project is financed through CDTI's own funds.

This aid has allowed SOLTEC INNOVATIONS S.L. to expand its knowledge and develop new technologies through the research and development of a new intelligent and versatile universal extended range universal power supply system technologically advanced system that feeds the wide range of photovoltaic modules that currently coexist on the market. This system offers better performance, being able to adapt to any type of photovoltaic module and, therefore, providing a solution to the current problem of the specificity of the power supply systems depending on the specific panel to be used in the photovoltaic installation.

SOLTEC INNOVATIONS S.L., in pursuit of the proposed objectives, has also developed a charger based on a dedicated panel. In addition, algorithms have been designed for MPPT tracking, battery monitoring and communications with SCADA to improve, together with the dual battery system approach, the useful life of the batteries. Finally, an alternative power supply system (in the solar tracking system) has been achieved that is connected in parallel and directly to the string, allowing battery charging and powering the tracking system.
