Soltec strengthens its corporate governance and is committed to technological innovation and solar trackers as the driving forces behind its new phase

Murcia, June 29, 2026. Soltec held its Annual General Shareholders’ Meeting on Monday, during which the annual financial statements, the appropriation of net income, the renewal of the Board of Directors, the new Compensation Policy, and the planned amendments to the bylaws were approved. With this backing, the company consolidates the new phase it began following the transformation process carried out over the past year and reaffirms its strategy as a technology company specializing in solutions for utility-scale photovoltaic projects.

After consolidating its financial restructuring and focusing its operations on the solar tracker business, Soltec closed 2025 with a net profit of 12 million euros and revenue of 81 million. Currently, the tracker business accounts for 78% of total revenue, and more than 60% of revenue comes from international markets, reflecting the global positioning the company has achieved.

During his address to shareholders, Soltec’s Board Chairman, Marcelino Oreja, emphasized that “the energy transition continues to be one of the greatest economic and industrial transformations of our time.” He also noted that “in April 2026, solar energy became the leading source of electricity generation in Spain for the first time, accounting for 25% of the national total.”

For his part, Soltec’s CEO, Mariano Berges, noted that “the sector is entering a new phase in which the challenge is no longer solely to install more renewable capacity, but to maximize the value it generates.” For Soltec, this scenario reinforces the importance of developing solutions capable of improving the efficiency, performance, and competitiveness of photovoltaic installations.

Governance Aligned with the Company’s Evolution

The General Shareholders’ Meeting approved the individual and consolidated annual financial statements for fiscal year 2025, the appropriation of net income, the non-financial information statement, and the management report prepared by the Board of Directors.

Likewise, the shareholders endorsed the reappointment of Ernst & Young as the statutory auditor for fiscal year 2026, the amendments to the bylaws regarding the term of office for board members and their compensation structure, as well as the new Compensation Policy.

In terms of corporate governance, the meeting ratified the appointments of Ignacio Casanova Sánchez de Ocaña, Íñigo Barcaiztegui Quiroga, and Marta Violeta Martínez Queimadelos as members of the Board of Directors, in addition to approving the reelection of Mariano Berges del Estal as an executive director.
