Soltec announces the award of UL 1741 for its unique PV Series Power Supply used for Self-powered tracker operation that delivers high-availability to the drive-system with minimum first cost and resulting in the lowest cost of operational power independently at each tracker.
The UL 1741, ‘Standard for inverters, converters, controllers and interconnection system equipment used with distributed energy resources on the electric grid’, has tested the safety and compatibility of the unique PV Series Power Supply for the SF Utility Self-powered single-axis tracker. “This UL Certification is an important milestone for our company to offer our customers the latest product innovations, the most cost-effective installation for large scale solar plants, and the lowest operational electricity price on-site,” said Raul Morales, CEO of Soltec.
